Libras, the Twilight of the Ages.

It is often the beauty less talked about, the one we glide over is what interests me most about this sign. Libra stands at the threshold of my favorite season too, autumn. Libra is the star source from which my mother and my middle sister came from, solar wise. But although they’re related by natural and biological tie as a mother and daughter, they couldn’t be further apart in mind and spirit. Of course, one would argue for the existence of decans or faces, that each sign is equally divided into 10 days cycles that are each in turn governed by different planets, hence the different energies. Or even, that each sign is given an unequal measure of divisions by the terms or bounds, for Libra it’s even more striking that the first bound is correlated with Saturn and the last one with Mars, Mercury having the most governance in temporal capacity, with a swooping 8 days total. There are, of course, other attributes to one’s personality traits and features, that have much more to do with the...

''(Contained)'', A Poem

‘‘(Contained)'' I carry you in my system, (in the veins I have you contained), Hints of you beguiled me, my heart still in function unable to comprehend That a vessel in which you are not contained, is utmost estranged. Here's the armour of body, wearing fidelity,  so remain in my veins, my heart (contained). This is you, my chosen persona, with whom love can too be obtained.  Remain, contained in my veins, my heart And do not die out of misery, that which pains our bonds and have them endangered, If the blood would sneak out of my body nothing of you shall drop, Heave strong, no less; you and less are not to duel together; Think the clasp and the clash of hands and the matching of chests— Nothing fell short of our camaraderie, both in the used moments and those we are bound to waste. And so moon lightened our west and sun did so in east and no running In the dark can turn us in haste.  Always stay, contained, (within my confinements),  And in...

Leo Sign's Mortal Flaw

Image
Image courtesy of Darkmoon Art Leo season has entered, and it will remain the dawn we face up until late August. It is the mane of the sun. Most people associate this particular constellation with strength and resilience. In fact, even in tarot cards, the Major Arcana card of Strength is painted with a woman tending to a large lion.  Although it harbors some hints of truth, but it’s undeniable that it’s simply a tired cliche and a bland archetype deprived of humor, depth or originality.  Lions have long been the kings of their savannah, their kingdom inspired real life kings to adopt their image into their emblem. But to me, observing sun born Leo individuals I encountered personally, and reading of accounts of so many, you can’t help but wonder that there’s somewhat a puzzle piece missing in the picture. Leo constellation has always been believed to have been pictured by the ancient pharaohs in the body of the sphinx at the Giza Plateau in Egypt. Whether the pharaohs of the a...
